There's this Taco Truck

I went to it while I was working for Nullsoft, and I have a romanticized view of their Al Pastor burritos. Actually that taco truck is what inspired me to use Al Pastor burritos as an ad-hoc metric for taquerias. (Which I stil stand by. Good Al Pastore <=> Good Taqueria). But this truck inspired the metric because they pegged the needle.

Now I must admit, it's been a few years, and those burritos where early in my mexican food adventures, so my memory might not be what it aught to be here. And I've been to some taco trucks since and none of them have held a candle to the one near Nullsoft's corporate headquarters, so I began to doubt.

But I've been working from home this week to get some massive coding done sans distraction, and I thought I would go for a long walk in the great weather we've been having, and see whether or not my little taco truck still had what I remembered.

Oh, boy, howdy it does.

I just wish other places where close to that good. Oh, and the one I'm talking about is the truck at Harrison and about 20th (it's pretty much across the street from Mission Cliffs) if you want to try some for yourself.
